Morning-Brew is a neighborhood roastery. We buy green beans direct from growers, roast twice a week in an eight-kilo drum, and pour what's freshest that morning.
Morning-Brew opened its doors in August 2026 on Linksfield Ridge, started by a small team who wanted one thing: a coffee shop where the person behind the counter actually knows your name, and your usual, before you've finished saying good morning.
We're still a young shop, but we've built our routine around the same idea every single day since we opened — good coffee, made properly, served by people who are genuinely glad you walked in.
Regulars get greeted by name, and we'll remember your order before you ask.
No one is rushed off the counter. If you want to sit and talk, there's a seat for you.
Not happy with your cup? Tell us and we'll remake it, no questions asked.
Our green beans travel from growers abroad, but everything else on the counter starts close to home. The milk, the butter, and the fruit in our pastries all come from small farms across the Western Cape, which we visit every season and buy from directly.
Our roaster reads each lot before it decides on a curve — nothing is roasted the same way twice. That's why the batch on the shelf this week might taste a little different from the one before it, and why we date every bag.
Four stages, each one shaping what ends up in your mug.
Green beans arrive from growers we visit each season, chosen lot by lot.
Small eight-kilo batches, twice weekly, each with its own roast curve.
Beans sit seven to ten days so the flavor settles before grinding.
Dialed in fresh every morning against that day's roast and grind.
